Tip of the Week: Transplanting Plants
Share
Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! This week, we're giving you tips on how to transplant your houseplants! Sometimes, your house plants get too big for your house, or it is just time to put them in their permanent home outside. Whatever the case may be, there is an easy tip that can save you time and effort when transplanting, and all it requires on your end is a change in how you think. Instead of thinking about getting the plant out of the pot, think about getting the pot off of the plant. This line of thinking will have you act more cautiously with the plant itself, which will in turn save your plant in the long run. Try cutting the pot off of the plant, or lightly sliding it off, as you will preserve the delicate root system that the plant has formed inside of the plant. By doing this, and then placing it immediately into the ground, you can save time, effort, and ultimately, your plant.
