Tip of the Week: Seed Storage

Tip of the Week: Seed Storage

Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! Join us this week, as we give you a handy tip when it comes to storing your seeds! Here’s the picture: you just planted half a pack of seeds, and are looking for what to do with the rest.  Do you put a rubber band on them and put them into a drawer, put them into a tupperware container, or do you just throw them out?  Well, we have a great alternative. Take any empty mint tins or TicTac boxes, and pour your seeds in there.  Then on a piece of masking tape, write what they are, and put it on the tin.  Since it’s a closed container, you don’t need to worry about the seeds spilling, and since they’re small, you can fit plenty in a small place.  Not only that, but it is just a great way to upcycle old containers that you were planning to throw away anyway.   For more gardening tips and tricks, be sure to check back next week for our latest edition of Tip of the Week!
