Tip of the Week: Reusable Planters

Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! This week. We’re showing you how to make planters using a very common household product. When it comes to using planters for seedlings, why spend your money when you can make one in your own home, using resources that you normally throw away? To make your own household planter, grab a pair of scissors and the nearest toilet paper roll. Cut 6-8 small slits at the bottom of the roll, and then fold it over itself so they overlap. Then, fill with wet soil, place in a baking sheet, and then plant your seed. Once they sprout, you can transplant the whole thing into your garden, as the cardboard rolls are biodegradable! Sometimes the simplest gardening hacks can be found right underneath your nose. For more gardening tips and tricks, be sure to check back to our blog every Monday for our latest Tip of the Week!
