Tip of the Week: In The Rain

Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! This week, we’re looking to keep your garden strong and healthy, with a few tips on gardening in the rain! When the rain is going strong (much like this past weekend), you may think that the best course of action is just to pack it in and wait for a sunny day. However, if the rain is lessening, or if it just stopped, head out to your garden and start to pull any weeds or dandelions you may have. It may seem like a strange concept, but the rain will soften up the soil, allowing you to be able to pull the whole root out with the weed, whereas dry soil will make it snap. With all the impending rain we are slated to get this week, you'll have several opportunities to try this out! Just make sure you stay relatively dry out there!
