Tip of the Week: Protection from frost

Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of "Tip of the Week," where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! Today's tip will guide you as to how to decide on how to protect your gardens from cold temperatures and frost that we may see this week. We hope you enjoy! With the arrival of April has also come cold snaps and unforgiving winds. We don't want your gardens to suffer because of these unseasonably low temperatures. Therefore, in order to protect your garden, here is what we suggest... Cover plants and flowers before dark with any sheets, cardboard boxes, newspaper, plastic tarps or any similar materials you may have on hand. You can also cut off the tops of plastic milk jugs and place them over plants and flowers to protect them from frost damage. These steps will serve to protect the life of your garden and flowers.
