Tip of the Week: Preparing Your Pots
Share
Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! This week, join us as we give you some simple tips to prepare your pots for planting! With spring approaching, we are sure that you have started to stockpile your garden supplies. Out of all of these, pots are most likely one, but before you stick some soil and a plant in them, you are going to need to prepare the pot first. Instead of opting for chemical treatments sold in stores, you can create your own treatment solution using commons household items! Simply mix together equal parts of rubbing alcohol, white vinegar, and water into a spray bottle, and spray down the pot. Scrub with a cloth or sponge to remove any deposits, and then leave in the sun to dry. Once dry, your pot is planting-ready, and is good to face whatever the growing season may throw at it.
