Tip of the Week: Perfect Popsicle

Tip of the Week: Perfect Popsicle

Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! This week, we’re showing you how to make markers in your garden using a favorite summer treat! As the weather starts to get warmer, we’re sure that you and the kids will start to chow down on popsicles to cool down. However, instead of throwing away the stick of this tasty treat, save them for a simple marker you can use in the garden! First, collect a few popsicles, and wipe them down with some rubbing alcohol to remove any left-over stickiness from the popsicle. Let the stick dry for at least an hour, and then take a permanent marker and write down the name of the plant that you wish to mark. Then, simply place it next to the seedling or plant, and reward yourself with another popsicle! It’s definitely the little things in life that make gardening that much easier. For more gardening tips and tricks, be sure to check back to our blog every Monday for our latest Tip of the Week!
