Tip of the Week: Being a Little Salty

Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! This week, we have all the benefits of getting a little salty with your garden! We all know that table salt can do wonders for food, and that Epsom salt works wonders for your body.  But did you know that you can also use Epsom salt in the garden to provide a nutrient boost to plants? Epsom salt's main ingredient is magnesium sulfate, which are both staples for plants far and wide.  To give your plants a little health boost, dissolve two tablespoons of Epsom salt for every gallon of water, and water with that.  The increased nutrients will make your blooms stronger, colorful, will yield much more than without. Sometimes, it's the little things, the common household items, and the overlooked methods that can have the most impact on your garden.  We try to sort these out for you, and show you how you can have a great garden with little effort. For more simple gardening tricks and tips, be sure to check back to our blog every Monday for our latest edition of Tip of the Week!
