Tip of the Week: Keeping a Journal
Posted on January 02 2017
Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! This week, we’re giving you an idea for your new year resolution: keeping a journal. Out of all of the gardening related resolutions out there, from working on your compost pile to taking up sustainable methods of gardening, we feel that none quite compares to keeping a journal. Not necessarily a personal journal, but one about your garden and all of the intricacies behind it. For example, write down what you planted where, when you harvested it, the type of bounty you received, and everything in between. By doing this throughout the year, you’ll be able to analyze the results at the end of the year, and think of how you can improve (or do the same thing) for the best results next year. This resolution does not have to be time consuming, but just a few minutes after you tend to your plants will suffice. Taking 5 minutes every other day will add up to a major benefit at the end of the season—trust us on this one.
