Tip of the Week: Crazy Cinnamon

Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! Join this week, as we show you how cinnamon can be used as effective disease-control! So you’re thinking of all the plants that you plan to add to your garden in the spring, but one question keeps coming to your mind: How do I prevent these young plants from disease?  Like many, your may be tempted to use commercial additives that claim that they will keep your plant healthy, or you may just be inclined to leave the plants on their own, letting them battle disease without help.  Well, we say that there is an all-natural way to keep your plants healthy, and you have all the materials in your kitchen.   When you finally put those plants in the ground, do yourself a favor and sprinkle some cinnamon on them right away.  Once the cinnamon is absorbed by the soil, you will have a fence of all-natural protection for your plants.  The best part?  Cinnamon is biodegradable, which means that you can keep putting it on as much as you need without fear of it ruining the environment around it. For more gardening tips and tricks, be sure to check back every Monday for our latest Tip of the Week!
