Tip of the Week: Preventing Infections
Share
Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! This week, we're looking to keep your garden strong and healthy, with a few tip on how to ward off infections and fungus! Spring brings new life to everything, from insects to rabbits to your garden. However, spring also brings in a lot of bacteria and fungus that can wreck havoc on your garden, especially the damping-off fungus. This type of infection attacks a seedling, stopping your garden before it can start. Fear not though, for there is a simple, economic, and environmentally-friendly way to ward off the damping-off infection: chamomile tea. By either spraying your plants with chamomile tea or watering them with it every so often, you can eliminate the threat of damping-off infections in your garden. The tea contains anti-fungal properties that can offset any microbes or pathogens in the soil, keeping your plants safe from harm. Just make sure that the tea is cooled off before you spray your plants! That’s it for our tip of the week. Be sure to make your way back next week for another gardening tip!
