Wow - where does the time go? That means it's also time to check off your punch list for Spring planting prep. Here's what you need to know so you're ready for bountiful Spring blossoms:
- Take stock and purchase your supplies for your indoor seed starting needs - items such as seed trays, potting soil, light bulbs and heat mats.
- Begin to seed indoors for things such as parsnips, onions, celery, cabbage and cauliflower.
- You can also begin indoor seeding for various annual and perennial plants like black-eyed Susan, butterfly weed, snapdragon, impatiens and perennial sunflowers. These will need 10-to-12 weeks to grow into transplant size.
