Tip of the Week: No-Stick Shovel

Tip of the Week: No-Stick Shovel

Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of “Tip of the Week,” where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! This week, we're giving you an extremely simple way to upgrade an essential gardening tool. Out of all the tools you use for gardening, your shovel is probably the most useful.  However, mucky soil can stick to the inside of the shovel, making it less effective at picking up dirt.  Thankfully, we have an easy fix. To create your very own no-stick shovel, grab a can of silicone or Teflon lubricant and spray the inside of the shovel with it.  Let it dry, and before you know it, you'll have a shovel that will come out clean every time. You can also apply the lubricant to your trowel too, to make planting in your gardening go by so much easier! For more easy gardening tips, be sure to check back next week for our latest edition of Tip of the Week!
