Tip of the Week: Keeping Those Easter Tulips Alive

Tip of the Week: Keeping Those Easter Tulips Alive

Hey there all of you Garden of Eden fans out there and welcome to our latest edition of "Tip of the Week," where we provide all of you some tips and tricks to keep your indoor flowers and outdoor gardens looking spectacular all the year through! Today's tip will guide you as to how to decide on how to make those tulips you received over the course of the Easter weekend last longer. We hope you enjoy! As Easter has come and gone and left you (perhaps) with some beautiful tulips, we thought we would share some simple steps you can take to prolong their livelihood. First, begin with an extremely clean vase. Next, fill it with approximately one-third full with fresh, room-temperature water. Your tulips will last longer in more shallow water. Next, add your tulips to the vase. You can also add a solution of two drops of liquid bleach and one teaspoon of sugar. These tips should allow for extended enjoyment of your tulips.
