New Years Eve Centerpieces

When you think of a New Year’s Eve party, tinsel and confetti comes to mind. So does glitter and streamers. Balloons, noisemakers, party hats – yes! And all of these can be incorporated into budget-friendly centerpieces for a large party or an intimate get-together.

A simple bowl with a few white roses tipped in glittery sparkle, some baby’s breath, and a NYE balloon popping up from the center is a timeless and elegant floral accent. Or a container of mixed greens with various size disco balls nestled amongst the foliage. If you have confetti, scatter it in a stripe down the center of a rectangular table like a runner, or toss it in the air over a round table – and place a beautiful and fun arrangement of white tulips and noisemakers atop!

If you wanted to go more winter-themed rather than New Year’s, a gold-sprayed twig placed in a metallic container with snowflake and icicle ornaments hung from the branches is wonderfully low-budget and striking. Fill clear vases of three varying heights with gold, black, and silver ornaments - or a single stem of orchids (live or silk) - pour water in up to the top, and float a candle in each for a cozy, romantic ambience.
