Feature Flower Friday: Yellow Roses

Hi there all of you Garden of Eden Flower Shop (and chocolates and gifts) fans! We’d like to welcome you all to our new Feature Flower Friday! Each week, we will be feature a different type of flower, the meaning behind them and the reasons you would give or present them to someone else. This week, we’re taking a peek into the yellow rose! Yellow roses is a rose that is by another name, expect this one bears a bright yellow hue to it.  This being said, the connotation of the yellow rose differs quite greatly than the red rose, and thus should not be used interchangeably. In short, the yellow rose represents friendship , appreciation, and platonic love without the romantic context.  They have been widely associated with the sun, and work wonders for brightening up a room, or turning someone's frown upside-down.  In addition, the color yellow gives off vibes of joy, which placates to the light and playful nature of this flower. With all of this being said, the yellow rose is perfect for co-workers, close friends, and teachers.  However, we do not recommend giving this to a potential romantic love; instead resort to a red or pink rose for that.
