Feature Flower Friday: Ranunculus

Feature Flower Friday: Ranunculus

Hi there all of you Garden of Eden Flower Shop (and chocolates and gifts) fans! We’d like to welcome you all to our new Feature Flower Friday! Each week, we will be feature a different type of flower, the meaning behind them and the reasons you would give or present them to someone else. Join us this week as we cover the ranunculus flower! At a first glance, the ranunculus flower can look like a rose or a peony, and have been used as a cost-effective way to replace those flowers for a while.  However, just because these flowers look like others, it does not mean that their meanings are the same. Overall, the ranunculus flower symbolizes a lasting love and commitment.  In addition, they have an aura of romance and intimate secrecy around them, which makes them a very popular wedding flower.  When grouped together in an arrangement, the ranunculus can be seen as a very sweet, romantic, and serious gesture.   In our opinion, we advise you to gift this flower to someone who you have very strong feelings for, and these should only be gifted in a romantic sense.  Otherwise, the message can become greatly convoluted.   No matter who you have in mind to give this flower to, know that we are here to help.  Just come on in, and see what we can do for you. Enjoy your weekend, Garden of Eden fans!
