Feature Flower Friday: Pink Roses

Hi there all of you Garden of Eden Flower Shop (and chocolates and gifts) fans! We’d like to welcome you all to our new Feature Flower Friday! Each week, we will be feature a different type of flower, the meaning behind them and the reasons you would give or present them to someone else. This week, we're taking an in-depth look into the pink rose! Pink roses are a rose that has a lighter connotation to it than that of the red rose, but can be just as meaningful.  Typically, pink roses stand for gentleness and affection, but the exact shade of pink can provide a different meaning. A dark pink rose can stand for gratitude, appreciation, or thanks.  This shade is great to give to teachers, friends, or co-workers, as it accurately displays your thanks.  On the other hand, a medium pink rose, or a traditional pink shade, stands for affection, one that may possibly bloom into a deeper love.  Teenagers and flirts alike can make great use of this shade, as it shows their feelings without being all too serious.  Finally, a light pink rose means gentleness, and is perfect to give to families who just had a newborn, regardless of gender.
