Feature Flower Friday: Magnolias

Feature Flower Friday: Magnolias

Hi there all of you Garden of Eden Flower Shop (and chocolates and gifts) fans! We’d like to welcome you all to our latest Feature Flower Friday! Each week, we will be featuring a different type of flower, the meaning behind them and the reasons you would give or present them to someone This week, we’re covering the Magnolia.  Enjoy! Magnolias, for those who do not know, are generally large blossoming flowers that bloom once the weather turns warm.  These flowers have been around for centuries on end, dating back to cultural importance in ancient China, and thus have a plethora of symbolism attached to them. They are often attached with the symbolism of nobility, beauty, endurance, and magnificence.  However, like other flowers, the color gives the true meaning. White magnolias are a symbol of purity and perfection, while pink symbolizes youth, innocence, and joy.  Purple sends wishes of luck and health, as does green. Magnolias can be the perfect addition to any arrangement, either for the home or as a gift, mainly due to their breathtaking beauty.  To add a few magnolias in your next order from us, just specify—we would be more than happy to accommodate your request. Have a great weekend, Garden of Eden fans!
