Feature Flower Friday: Gladiolus

Feature Flower Friday: Gladiolus

Hi there all of you Garden of Eden Flower Shop (and chocolates and gifts) fans! We’d like to welcome you all to our latest Feature Flower Friday! Each week, we will be featuring a different type of flower, the meaning behind them and the reasons you would give or present them to someone This week, we’re covering the Gladiolus flower.  Enjoy! The Gladiolus flower has a long standing history, dating all the way back to the Roman Empire.  They were considered the flower of the gladiator, and have been associated with swords, thanks to their slender stature.  However, despite all of this, the gladiolus flower has several meanings attached to it that are still pertinent today! Overall, a gladiolus represents strength of character, faithfulness, infatuation, and the drive to never give up.  This being said, the gladiolus flower is the perfect one for someone who is strong-willed, as has their mind set on their goals. Gladiolus, like the gladiators that they represent, as signals of strength, and having a strong will.  Not only that, but they look absolutely beautiful as well. No matter what you plan to do with a gladiolus flower, know that we can help you out.  Just specify that you would like a few included in your next order, and we will happily oblige. Enjoy your weekend, Garden of Eden fans!
