This week, we’re taking a peek into the delphinium!

The delphinium flower, or the larkspur (as it is also commonly called), is a subtle blossom conveying the message elegance.  Originally used to make dye, this flower provides seamless hues for any room or occasion.  Not only that, but it has a wide array of symbolism attached to it to make it the perfect flower to give to someone close. Overall, the delphinium flowers stands for striving for goals, optimism, openness to new emotions, the welcoming of a new romantic opportunity, and expanding opportunities.

This being said, the delphinium is the perfect flower to give to someone who is constantly working to better themselves, someone who is entering into a new relationship, or someone who is just very optimistic on life.  It is a perfect gift for teachers and co-workers, along with new loves that are starting to form. In addition, the delphinium flower has historically been used to ward off scorpions, so giving one to your friendly neighborhood arachnophobic may be a good idea.

Did we also mention that it's subtle hues provide just the right amount of color and warmth to any room?  Simply find a bare spot in the room, and watch as the delphinium brings the room to life.
