In a general sense, the carnation is a symbol of love, fascination, distinction, and devotion.  This flower sends of a very sweet vibe to those whom you gift it to, and a message that is sure to leave a mark.  However, the color of the carnation itself can greatly alter the meaning.  For that special one in your life, go with a deep red carnation, as it symbolized deep love and a strong sense of admiration.  On the other hand, stay away from yellow or striped carnations this Valentine’s Day, as they represent disappointment and regret, respectively. No matter what you plan to use a carnation for, know that we are here to help.  Just pop on into any one of our various stores around South Jersey to see how we use the carnation in your next arrangement!
