Hi there all of you Garden of Eden Flower Shop (and chocolates and gifts) fans! We'd like to welcome you all to our latest Feature Flower Friday! Each week, we will be featuring a different type of flower, the meaning behind them and the reasons you would give or present them to someone. Today, we're talking all about the Baby's Breath. Enjoy! The baby's breath is both an abundant and pretty recognizable bloom. They are native to Eastern Europe, Asia and north Africa. Varieties of this flower can be found in both white and pink. While they are popularly considered to be a "filler flower," baby's breath has numerous uses - especially in the crafting space. They are perhaps the best and simplest to dry and are most often placed alongside others as part of an arrangement. Additionally, baby's breath are widely used in wreaths, ornaments and sometimes even jewelry. Often used in weddings, baby's breath symbolizes everlasting love, while also representing purity of the heart and happiness. They are also given to expectant mothers and can also mean the innocence and joy of a new baby. Baby's breath surely has a strong connection to love.
